Oh, how things have changed! I still remember the days of lugging around a giant diaper bag filled with way too much stuff, trying to fold up a stroller like it was an origami puzzle, and warming bottles in the most creative (and questionable) ways possible.

White noise in your pocket? Yes, please. These tiny miracle workers help soothe babies on the go and have saved more than one studio session. The babies love them—and I kinda do too!

3. Swaddles That Practically Do the Work for You

Gone are the days of wrestling with a blanket trying to get the perfect baby burrito wrap! Today’s swaddles have Velcro, zippers, and stretchy fabric that make swaddling easy and secure—even for sleep-deprived parents at 2 a.m. They keep baby snug, calm, and happy (and make my job easier too during photoshoots!).

4. Wearable Breast Pumps

Hands-free, wireless, and quiet? It’s like the future arrived and decided to be kind to breastfeeding moms.

5. Baby Tracking Apps

From feedings to sleep to diaper changes—there’s an app for it all now. No more scribbled notes or forgetting when baby last ate (because let’s be honest, time becomes a blur those first few weeks).

Some things seemed fancy back in the day, but now they feel like essentials. A warm wipe might just be the difference between a scream and a smile!
