Welcoming New Life | A Joyful Newborn Session in the Studio

There’s something incredibly special about the quiet, tender moments of a newborn session—but this one was extra sweet.

Recently, I had the absolute joy of welcoming baby Kingstons family into my studio for his newborn session. The space was filled with soft morning light pouring through the large windows of my cozy 1920s building, wrapping us all in warmth and peace. It was the perfect setting to capture the love and connection of this beautiful new family.

From the moment they walked in, I could see the joy in their eyes—the kind of love that’s fresh, deep, and overwhelming in the best way. As a photographer, it’s those little glances, those quiet smiles, and the way new parents look at their baby that fills my heart and reminds me why I do this. Every session is a chance to witness something real and timeless.

Their baby was calm, snuggly, and absolutely perfect. We used a few of my favorite soft, neutral wraps and kept things simple to let all that natural love shine through. We also captured some sweet family moments—those first cuddles and kisses that they’ll never want to forget.

What made this session even more special was how kind and easygoing this family was. Meeting new families and getting to be a small part of their journey is such an honor. These are the days that pass quickly, and it means the world to me to freeze them in time with beautiful, heartfelt images.
